Durant and Bryant Clash of the Game - Dec 7, 2012

On December 7, 2012 a game against The Los Angeles Lakers, Kevin Durant had 36 points, Russell Westbrook scored 27 of his 33 in the first half to stake Oklahoma City to a commanding lead and the Thunder beat the short-handed Lakers 114-108 Friday night.

Kobe Bryant had 35 points including 4 of 5 three point shots, one of three points he shot was on the last 15 seconds left of the game, which The Los Angeles Lakers trailed by 108-112 in the final seconds.

Kobe Bryant and Kevin Durant led their respective teams in scoring and had similar games in terms of shooting distance. Bryant and Durant combined to make 12 of 16 shots from inside 10 feet and were 6-for-13 from at least 20 feet (including 6-9 from the 3-point line). But the duo struggled on mid-range jumpers, shooting a combined 3-for-14 (21.4 percent) on shots between 10 and 19 feet. Entering the game Bryant was shooting 47.6 percent and Durant was shooting 44.6 percent on such shots.
